Daggerheart Remap

▮▮
Behind the Blackwall — GM material. Spoilers and prep. Crew of Kill Fee, jack out now.

SET decided · SOURCE verified in the campaign summary · YOURS GM invention · OPEN undecided · NOTE caution

NOTE This is a workbench, not a rulebook. Each subsystem below has a table: Daggerheart on the left, Night City on the right, and a status tag. Nothing is remapped yet. Once a subsystem is SET, its Night City column is what the table pages and the character creation options get built from. Keep Daggerheart's rules text verbatim wherever a mechanic is kept — only the names change.

Ground rules

SET Daggerheart, lightly reskinned, not a full conversion.

Keep as-is: Duality dice, Hope and Fear, HP, Stress, Armor, damage thresholds. Fear reads as "the city turning on you."

Reskin freely:

  • Weapons become guns, using Daggerheart's existing ranges and damage dice.
  • Domain cards become cyberware, quickhacks, street skills, or contacts.
  • Presence is renamed Cool (nod to Cyberpunk RED's COOL stat).

Build bespoke: only what each character uniquely needs.

Process: players pitch a concept, match it to the closest class and subclass, rename most abilities, and hand-build only the one or two pieces that need it. Multiclassing is off; the crew runs levels 3 to 5 — Campaign Frame.

When sections 1–7 are SET:

  1. The Character Menus move to the table pages as the character creation options.
  2. The play sheet assets (copied from Colossi, still vanilla Daggerheart) get the renamed traits, domains and equipment.
  3. Gear & Chrome and the Night City pages open for player-facing content.
